Acoustic Barrier Materials:
The Acoustic Barrier material has been designed to ensure the highest performance in reduction of air borne and impact noise and vibration between floors of existing (refurbishment) and new build constructions. It will also provide a degree of thermal insulation.
Vibration transmits through structures using all possible routes, walls, floors, connecting ties and pipework installations.
In recent years provision within Building Regulations (Document E) have come into force to legislate against this unwanted noise which can seriously reduce quality of life.
Tiflex have carefully designed a material, the Acoustic Barrier, to significantly reduce the transmission of air borne and impact noise and vibration through new and existing structures. The construction of the product ensures that maximum performance is produced whilst minimising the impact of additional height in a construction.
