Baseplate Pads

Tiflex have manufactured Trackelast Baseplate Pads for more than 40 years. Tiflex Baseplate Pads were developed initially for the first non-ballasted track construction, which took place in Netherlands and Spain. The objective then, as now, was to provide the same degree of track resilience in non-ballasted track construction and at the same time, to reduce levels of ground borne vibration.

We now have a wide range of materials available which will suit most applications, from switches and crossings to vehicle washing plants. The selection of the most appropriate material will depend upon the operating conditions of the track and the level of performance required. Tiflex provide a full technical service to help you choose the material which is most suitable for your application.

Since that time Tiflex Limited has continued to develop the range to include specialist grades for the specific requirements of the non-ballasted track. Applications range from vehicle washing plants, maintenance bays and tank filling stations, to concrete viaducts and areas requiring measures against transmission of ground or structure borne vibration. Tiflex Baseplate Pads, with special high electrically insulating properties, are also available to prevent the corrosion of main services caused by stray current leakage.

The Tiflex range of Baseplate Pads is designed to provide optimum performance for the supportof baseplates on non-ballasted track and in switch and crossing layouts.
