TICO Structural Bearings provide a maintenance free acoustic/resilient barrier for the isolation of structures from ground borne noise and vibration.
Can be supplied in a variety of construction methods from modular bearings on pile caps/column heads to continuous bearings in strip footings.
Supplied in virtually any size to suit specific conditions, so that the bearings can be engineered to give the required response.
Bearings can be fitted above or below ground level to suit the engineers' requirements.
Available in a number of grades.
Suitable for a wide variety of applications from large buildings to light internal structures.
All bearings manufactured from high quality constituents.
Key Advantages
Vulcanised laminates of polychloroprene based rubber, enhanced by the inclusion of cellular particles and alternated with reinforcing plies of high tensile fabric.
This medium stress structural bearing uses the same high quality compound as is used in TICO CV/CA but is unreinforced except in the 50mm thick version, which has central reinforcement of high tensile fabric.
This range of low stress bearings is supplied in two grades, both moulded from polychloroprene compounds in varying configurations.
CV/LF/B bearings have a working stress range of 0.04 MN/m² to 0.07 MN/m².
CV/LF/N bearings have a working stress range of 0.35 MN/m² to 0.7 MN/m²
Applications
High load bearing applications such as high rise buildings, office complexes, luxury flats, tower blocks, cinema's, theatre's etc.
CV/CA bearings have a working stress range of 4.5 MN/m² to 7 MN/m².
Applications
Medium load bearing applications such as offices, private dwellings, oil rig modules, floating floors, cinema's etc.
CV/M bearings have a working stress range of 1 MN/m² to 1.4 MN/m².
Applications
Recording and sound studios, floating floors, anechoic chambers, etc.
