Recommended supplementary products from the Tico range to complement our various bearings and seatings

Adhesives and sealants

  • Tico contact adhesive rubber based contact adhesive suitable for use on light applications where a well prepared, dry and level surface exists.
  • Tico marine epoxy adhesive suitable for arduous applications and in particular for medium and high stress bearings where a well prepared, dry and level surface exists.
  • Tico A/SU two-part, cold curing polysulphide filler/sealant: may be used for horizontal filling where a permanently elastic joint is required.

Fire protection

Tico resilient seatings and structural bearings have a degree of natural fire resistance. In installations where fire sweep could occur, Tiflex advises the inclusion of extra fire protection.

Our technical department will be happy to assist in the selection of the most appropriate material.

Sealing tape

Tico A/ST waterproof adhesive tape is used to seal joins between seatings and infill materials to avoid the ingress of wet concrete during pouring operations.

Resilient collars and washers
